ABOUT THIS MINISTRY PROGRAM

We are excited that you have chosen to be a part of this ministry. Our after-school program Ministry is a direct part of our outreach and children’s ministry departments. This is not a school, but an educational enhancement opportunity for students. This ministry is designed to reach our community and provide school aged students and families with after-school tutoring, physical and recreational activities, life skills and personal care. 
 
 

DAYS/HOURS OF OPERATION

Our days of operation are for the school year, based on the Craven County Schools TRADITIONAL calendar (August 23, 2021 – June 9, 2022). We will not be open on the BLUE/H-days or GREEN/V- days. We are open 3-6pm Monday-Friday.  In addition to afterschool hours we are also open on teacher work days and remote learning days.  We will pick up your child at the end of their school day.  They will be transported to the church.   

LATE CHILD PICK-UP

West Vanceboro Overflow After-school Program and  Ministry closes promptly at 6:00 pm. We do NOT offer after hour services. If you child is here beyond 6pm, you may be charged $1.00 per minute.

COST

The cost is $80 per child, per week (5 days) and we also offer a multiple child discount. Families with multiple children in our program will be given the rate of $75 per week for the first child and $65/week for each additional child.

Payment is due in full each MONDAY for the week. Regardless if your child is present each day/week weekly payment is required or their spot will be filled with those on the waiting list.   We accept cash or checks (checks should be made payable to Overflow After-school). We can accept online payments; however, fees may be attached to those payments. Snacks will be provided each day. If your child does not like something on the menu, he/she child would need to provide their own “bag lunch” for that day. On remote learning days lunch will be offered or your child can choose to bring his/her lunch.  

REGISTRATION

Registration forms and your non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 can be turned in at West Vanceboro. Turn in your registration packet before you begin attending to complete your registration process. Space is limited and availability is on a first-come basis. When our slots are filled, you will be placed on a waiting list and be contacted when a slot opens.
