How Do I Meet People?

West Vanceboro Church of God is not a place for spectators.  It is a place for team members.  Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman/woman, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community.  Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at West Vanceboro Church of God.

Discipleship Training

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic more than in a large group setting.  For that reason, West Vanceboro Church of God has Bible studies in church classrooms every Sunday morning at 9:45. We also offer Mobilize; a year long program, which is a mentoring program that establishes a bond of loyalty and a relationship of cooperation between the pastor and members. It is a pastor’s tool for motivating and training members for spiritual leadership and ministry together.

Youth Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn in unique ways.  Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction.

Women’s Ministry

West Vanceboro of God Women’s Ministry gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction.  Our Women’s Group meets the third Saturday morning of every month with a time of Bible devotion, prayer, business and occasional food!  This ministry provides a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in our church.
